We've owned the number. Now we sit on your side of the table.

How Fiscal Stories began.
It started with a simple observation: in financial services, the growth conversation is won or lost in the numbers, yet the advice leaders receive is rarely built from inside those numbers.
1
Inside the numbers
Nearly two decades leading growth and marketing in financial services, across broking, wealth and capital markets, owning acquisition targets and answering to boards.
2
The gap
Leadership teams kept asking for advice from someone who had carried the number themselves, not from an agency selling campaigns and media.
3
Fiscal Stories
Founded in 2025 in Mumbai as an independent growth advisory for financial services and FinTech: operator-led, number-driven and commercially accountable.
FiscalStories.
Fiscal
Of the ledger, the treasury and the P&L. Every financial decision starts with a number, and so does every growth decision we advise on.
Stories
What the numbers mean, and the narrative leaders carry to boards, investors and customers. A listing, a launch or a turnaround is a story told in public.
Numbers are the facts. Stories are the decisions. We work where the two meet. The rupee sign in our wordmark marks where ours began: India.
What we are building.
Our mission
To help financial-services leaders make growth decisions backed by numbers, not noise.
Our vision
To be the most trusted independent growth adviser to financial institutions across India and the world's key financial centres.
The thinking behind growth begins with experience.
Vishesh Sharma · Founder, Fiscal Stories
Vishesh is a financial-services marketing and growth leader who has built and transformed marketing capabilities across organisations including Sharekhan, Angel One, Ashika Group, Bajaj Broking and PL Capital. His work spans brand creation, digital acquisition, customer lifecycle strategy and business transformation.
At Fiscal Stories, he leads the strategic diagnosis and client relationships, connecting storytelling with commercial data to help leadership teams identify and act on their most consequential growth opportunities.
Our leadership team brings complementary experience across acquisition, communications, AI, investment content, commercial partnerships and creative storytelling. Specialists contribute where their expertise fits the client challenge; the engagement model is shaped around the mandate.
The biographies describe each person’s professional contribution rather than reproducing a career history.
Suresh Chettiar
Digital Growth & Customer Acquisition
Suresh brings deep experience in performance marketing, search and digital customer acquisition, including leadership roles associated with HDFC Securities, Angel Broking and Axis Bank. He helps translate growth ambitions into acquisition strategies, measurement frameworks and more efficient customer journeys, particularly where regulated products demand both scale and precision.
Natasha combines financial-services communications experience with practical expertise in media relations, corporate reputation and brand narrative. Having worked with organisations including InCred and Upstox, she helps businesses communicate complex propositions clearly, build stakeholder confidence and navigate sensitive moments with consistency and judgment.
Shivam works at the intersection of product design, technology and applied AI. With product experience at multiple AI native companies, he brings a systems-oriented perspective to growth challenges, helping identify where automation, conversational AI and better digital experiences can remove friction and create tangible operational value.
Abhishek brings a filmmaker's understanding of how stories earn attention and make ideas memorable. Through his work with The Mood Board Company, he has developed experience in scripting, directing and producing brand-led films and advertising. He helps translate business strategy into compelling creative narratives and visual communication that audiences can understand, remember and act on.
Shoaib combines investment research, financial journalism and asset-management product communications. His experience spans Value Research, India Today, ICICI Prudential AMC, L&T Financial Services and Axis Mutual Fund. He helps turn complex investment products, market perspectives and financial information into credible, useful narratives for investors, advisers and financial-services brands.
Shareshtha brings extensive experience in alliances, commercial partnerships and business development across technology, travel and digital businesses, including RateGain and Vistara. His expertise lies in identifying mutually valuable partnerships, shaping distribution opportunities and connecting organisations with ecosystems that can accelerate growth beyond conventional marketing channels.
Our strategic advisers bring independent senior perspectives to selected business questions. Their role is to strengthen thinking and challenge assumptions, rather than imply day-to-day delivery on every engagement.
Prabhakar Tiwari
Strategic Advisor · FinTech & WealthTech Growth
Prabhakar brings the perspective of both a high-scale financial-services growth leader and a WealthTech founder. As Founder and CEO of FinDro, and previously Chief Growth Officer at Angel One, he has worked across enterprise transformation, platform-led growth, customer acquisition and financial-product innovation. His contribution is particularly valuable when evaluating scale-up choices, growth architecture and the intersection of product, technology and commercial strategy.
Sudhir brings more than 25 years of finance leadership experience and is Founder of CFO CRAFT, a fractional CFO and strategic finance practice. He helps connect growth decisions with cash visibility, working capital, reliable management information and investor readiness. His perspective adds financial discipline to ambitious growth plans, helping businesses assess not only what can scale, but what can scale sustainably.
We collaborate with independent specialist businesses when an engagement calls for additional implementation or production capability. These relationships complement Fiscal Stories’ advisory role; the firms retain their own identities and operating teams.
Financial products, customer trust, regulated environments and digital money journeys are our home ground.
Operators, not observers
Our perspective comes from leading growth and transformation mandates inside financial-services organisations.
Accountable to outcomes
Acquisition efficiency, activation, engagement, retention and revenue. Never likes, reach or impressions.
Independent and practical
No platform to sell, no media to resell. We help leadership teams set priorities and turn strategy into a plan they can act on.
Built for more than one market
A practice relevant to financial institutions across India and the world's key financial centres.
Built like the organisations we advise.
Enterprise leadership teams expect rigour. Ours rests on three habits.
Analytics before opinion
Cohort, funnel and unit-economics analysis sits under every recommendation. We find where the economics of growth break before we suggest what to fix.
A number-driven organisation
We help leadership teams run on a short, board-ready scorecard tied to revenue: clear owners, a decision cadence and no vanity metrics.
Understanding of the market
Customer behaviour, competitors, distribution and regulation differ by market. We read each one before advising, across India, the UAE, Singapore, the UK and Australia.
Fiscal Stories was founded by Vishesh Sharma, a senior BFSI and FinTech growth and marketing leader with nearly two decades of experience, including Group CMO at PL Capital and CMO roles at Bajaj Broking and Ashika Group.
What makes Fiscal Stories different from a marketing agency?
We are an independent growth advisory, not an advertising, social media or execution agency. We diagnose opportunities, shape strategy, build transformation roadmaps and advise leadership, with no media to resell and no platform to sell.
Which industries does Fiscal Stories specialise in?
Banks, NBFCs and digital lending, stockbroking, wealth and investment platforms, asset managers, insurers and InsurTech, payments and FinTech.
Where does Fiscal Stories work?
We advise financial-services and FinTech brands in India, the UAE, Singapore, the United Kingdom and Australia, and international brands entering India.
What does operator-led advice mean?
Our perspective comes from having led growth and transformation mandates inside financial-services organisations, owning acquisition targets, answering to boards and rebuilding funnels, rather than advising from the outside.
